About us

We are an artist couple. We met during our studies at the School for Fine Arts of Bordeaux. Since 2015, we have mostly been working together. So far, we have proceeded empirically by integrating drawing, painting and volume work into our practice.

All of our production is like a succession of essays trials. Nowadays, mainly in connection with questions regarding sculpture, it is with a recurring taste for the absurd and the grotesque, that we approach our relationship to the Object. Through games of distortion, exaggeration and inversion, the use of the grotesque has become a mean for us to deconstruct normality and to question realism and its conventions.

From the disturbing strangeness to the valley of the strange, the banality of everyday objects are transformed, they mutate into forms of surreal and phantasmagorical organisms.
