TELURE the Guardian 2023

This trophy was originally designed as a reward for an eSports tournament centered around the game League of Legends. Due to COVID-19-related restrictions, the tournament was canceled, and the trophy was never created. However, three years later, we were determined to bring this idea to life because it meant a lot to us.

To highlight the competitive aspect of the game, we decided to reimagine the trophy, drawing inspiration from the era of ancient Greece, where it symbolized a war trophy. We chose to incorporate the tower symbol, which is a key element in the game’s gameplay. In the game, towers are defensive structures that launch projectiles to halt the enemy’s advance as they attempt to invade the base. They are represented as imposing warrior statues, serving as guardians.

The trophy we created depicts a knight’s armor mounted on a pedestal, echoing the design of the towers. In a distinctive fantasy medieval style characteristic of the game’s universe, this warrior figurine appears both intimidating and deterrent. We added a jewel to emphasize the value of the reward bestowed upon the tournament’s winner.

For its creation, we first drew the statuette from various angles. Then, we modeled and 3D printed it. As for the jewel, it was molded in silicone and crafted using transparent epoxy resin.
