Red Bull Instalock Trophy

Acrylic resin, 3D printing, plexiglass

This trophy was created for the finals of the international E-Sport tournament Red Bull Instalock, which took place in London, England, in April 2024.

The idea behind this trophy was to create a simple and elegant structure while highlighting the supernatural aspect of the game.

With a metallic appearance, the trophy consists of an assembly of abstract and refined shapes that intertwine. The slender forms at the center of the object support and envelop a transparent sphere located at the top.

With a bluish tint, the sphere at the top of the trophy resembles a source of energy. It echoes the Radiants, agents endowed with supernatural powers that characterize the game.

For its creation, we first sketched the trophy from different angles, modeled and 3D printed it, then painted it in a metallic gray color. The sphere, on the other hand, is made of transparent acrylic resin tinted throughout.
