This trophy was specially created for the final of the BLAST R6 Major international E-Sports tournament, which took place in Atlanta, United States, in November 2023. Centered around the tactical shooting game Rainbow Six Siege, the event was organized by BLAST in partnership with Ubisoft.

For this occasion, we were asked to design a cup in continuation of the trophy presented in the previous competition.

One way to create a correlation between the game and the event location was to represent on the trophy various elements specific to the agents (fictional characters from the video game) originating from the country where the competition took place.

Our choice ultimately fell on the representation of four of them through their items. These highly characteristic visual elements, once integrated into the trophy, bring a more contemporary dynamic to the traditional form of the cup, thus reinforcing its connection to the video game universe. The cracks present on certain surfaces of the trophy echo the graphic charter of the event and the destructible nature of the environments in the game.

The military and warlike aesthetic of the game is enhanced by its metallic finish, imposing dimensions, and massive appearance. To present and highlight the trophy, we were also asked to create its base. Thanks to integrated lighting on its upper edges, the items and the trophy logo are highlighted. The lighting from below creates a levitation effect, giving an additional aura to the object.

On this occasion, we want to express our gratitude to the Ubisoft and BLAST teams for their trust in this first collaboration on such a significant event, without which this project would not have been possible. We sincerely hope that this marks the beginning of a beautiful collaboration.
